Why should corporates join?

There are special opportunities and benefits for organisations that sign up:

  • Agree to back Chooseday in principle, sign up on this website, advertise it among employees and appoint one member of staff as a contact point with the initiative

  • Consider how to make it possible for employees to leave their cars at home on Chooseday, enhancing existing travel to work initiatives or by facilitating home working  

  • Offer practical help in establishing Chooseday e.g. through marketing advice

  • Second a member of staff for one or more days per week to work with Agora in a small team making this happen

  • Offer core funding to Agora that will pay for the work of Agora’s Coordinator on this project

  • Offer other funding to enable the networking process or the media campaign

  • Donate an award to The Bristol Chooseday Awards

In return supporting companies and institutions can expect public recognition of their contribution by an agreed means such as:

  • display of the corporate logo and supportive comments on our website

  • a piece in the news section of any novel Chooseday initiatives that they are pursuing

  • links to stories of particular employees embracing Chooseday

  • participation in The Bristol Chooseday Awards (details to be announced)
